Work can begin with a review of the venue, operational functions, existing equipment and system dependencies. Connectivity, coverage, placement, fallback paths, power and provider responsibilities are then planned.
The secretariat, judge positions, timing, workstations, printers and other functions can be connected by cable, WiFi and directional links. Internet and possible fallback connectivity are sized around the venue and event.
Tobtech can support technical setup and verification of connectivity around show-jumping and cross-country timing, digital judge input and the onward workflow to the secretariat and result displays.
Communication planning can include channel structure, preparation, charging, labelling and distribution of radios, along with technical support for officials.
Pre-start checks, operational monitoring and structured troubleshooting help isolate issues in the correct part of the chain. On-site support can cover all or part of the event.
Directional network link
Point-to-point links can connect the secretariat, timing, judge positions and other separated locations where cabling is impractical. Placement, line of sight, capacity and dependencies are planned before commissioning.
